Description

A class in your school has a problem! Their Valentine’s Day box is missing. All of the cards, the candy, and the kind words from classmates are all gone! Where did they go? Who took them? And most importantly, WHY?

This writing prompt asks students to write about the case of the missing Valentine.

This packet is meant as a complete guide for your students to write this mystery writing piece.

To make things easy on you, simply print pages 3-14 for students. This includes the cover, directions for students, all graphic organizers to get students creative juices flowing, as well as the final writing paper.

Also included at the end of the packet are four different writing toppers. Students can choose one of these to color, cut out, and then place on top of their writing.

When we complete this in my room, we place this entire writing piece and topper on a piece of construction paper to display in the hallway. That choice is yours.

Thanks for your support and Happy Valentine’s Day!
