Description
Bundle Fairy tales are very popular at present. Why not capitalize on your theater students' interest in them with this costume design lesson? Students can really let their imaginations soar and explore different settings (modern, the fifties, western, apocalyptic, furturistic, etc.) for their own costume designs while learning sound instruction created by a very knowledgeable and experienced veteran teacher. This two-day low prep lesson (45 pages in length) teaches about costume design and focused on fairy tale characters. This very popular lesson gives students an opportunity for differentiation and to be costume designers. Cinderella in the 50’s? Little Boy Blue as a rapper? Red Riding Hood dressed for a prom? Sure!
Suitable for students in grades 6 to 9, the product is broken down for two class periods, although it could be used for a one day exploration of the subject.
