Description
Each poster sheet of the timeline cleverly illustrates an event from pre-historic Native American history beginning in 31,000 b.c., and then through each decade of U.S. history from 1500 to 2020. A total of 63 sheets builds a comprehensive and sequential timeline poster that extends over 40 feet long and is easily viewed throughout the classroom. It also makes an attractive school hallway display. Each decade depicts a colorful cartoon representation of a major influential event of that era and 10-year period in history. Each event is painstakingly researched, including the use of the archaic spelling of “almanack” as used by Benjamin Franklin. This is a true continuous timeline with a running year indicator at the bottom of each page. This timeline also includes illustrated tab sheets of every U.S. president, sized on their terms of office, that can be attached to the bottom of the timeline from 1789 (Washington) to present (Biden). See the Preview of Included Products for an example.
This bundle also includes a full color U.S. History timeline, a black and white timeline to allow students to color in events, a full timeline of U.S. Presidents, and fun and engaging cryptogram puzzle worksheets about each President of the United States.
