What educators are saying

I gave my students the option to put the images together like a puzzle or to draw the images. Either way, they came out great! I was very impressed with how they all came out.

Description

Unscramble the Famous Failures—portrait and grid activities to use in your classroom! In these unscramble grid activities, students are presented with a scrambled image of a portrait of a famous person. Then each student works to unscramble the grid pieces to produce the final “unscrambled” portrait. This is a great growth mindset activity.

I have included options both for cutting and pasting, as well as for drawing, which makes this great for students of any age and makes differentiation in your classroom really easy.

This set of unscramble the portraits is a fun activity on its own, but it also makes for a perfect pairing with my Famous Failures Collaboration Poster resource.

7 People Included in this resource:

Some of these famous people are available as collaboration posters of their own – simply click on the names above to view those resources.

Other Unscramble Portrait Resources:

I always include these unscramble grid activities as bonus materials in my individual collaborative portrait posters of famous people. But teachers also frequently ask me if I have these grid activities available just on their own. I’m happy to have this resource now available to share with you all!
