What educators are saying

I love all the resources you have put together to teach history in an engaging and thoughtful way. This was great resource to use before we started learning about the Russian Revolution.
I used this resource as suggested toward the beginning of our RR unit at the beginning of Nicholas II reign to introduce the fall of the Romanov dynasty. I recommend this one!

Description

Who was Rasputin? Mini CSI Investigation into Rasputin and Russian Revolution!

In this engaging new mini CSI investigation on the mystic monk known as Rasputin, students use primary source evidence to learn and engage with this mysterious man as the Russian Empire was pitted in the Russian Revolution. Students use newspaper clippings from the era to make predictions and document what can be learned about Rasputin, then students make an informative claim before watching a short video to critique their findings!

Similar to my full-scale CSI investigations, this one is leaner and quicker -- it utilizes intrigue-based learning as students essentially receive one investigative question and a slew of short documents to gather from. Students record information on an engaging graphic organizer document, then complete an overarching prompt before evaluating their work! Optional links are also included to further student understanding.

Tons of fun!

**This resource is packaged in my Russian Revolution bundle to save you considerably!

A full Google 1:1 version is included PLUS a teacher key!
