Description

Year-long Reading Guide that accompanies the McDougal Littell World History: Patterns of Interaction (2007) textbook. The hardest thing about teaching history is selecting what to cover and what to leave out. This Reading Guide has take 60+ chapter sections and organized them into 8 units that can be covered during a year-long class. Units covered:

1. Ancient River Valley Civilizations: Mesopotamia, Palestine, Indus Valley and China

2. Ancient Greece and Rome

3. Middle Ages

4. Renaissance and Exploration

5. Age of Revolution

6. Industrialization and Imperialism

7. WWI, Russian Revolution, WWII and Genocide

Each unit has a grading rubric. Individual sections of the reading guides include before, during, and after reading sections that have students use the reading process. Keys included!
