The skills practice page has students practice translating verbal phrases to algebraic expressions and algebraic expressions to verbal phrases, and the application practice page consists of real-world problems that need to be converted to algebraic expressions and algebraic expressions for which students need to write their own real-world problems.

Answer keys for all three pages are included.
