What educators are saying
This was a great resource to use at the beginning of our daily writing block as part of conventions. My 4th graders really struggle with some of these skills so repetition has been very helpful for them!
My grade 5's and 6's have used these for morning work. This resource helped with review for my struggling writers. Thanks so much!
Description
As a middle school teacher, I found myself constantly reminding my students to "write in complete sentences, avoid fragments, and run-ons!" Even though I knew this topic had been taught to them at multiple points, I needed a mini-lesson to show them exactly what I meant. I created this product and had great success with it. The details of everything included are below. Hope this helps alleviate some stress for you and your students!
Includes:
*What makes a complete sentence
*Identifying subject and predicates
*Fragments
*Run-Ons
*Practice for Fragments and Run-Ons
*Identify the type of sentence
*Color and BW Versions
