TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Most of my experience has been teaching 4th and 5th grades in a self-contained classroom. I have a Masters of Science in Reading, and in addition to being a Reading Specialist, I have also taught at the community college level. In September of 2016, I left the classroom in order to become a full-time curriculum writer.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love presenting my students with open-ended learning experiences. Critical thinking and problem solving are always in the forefront of my mind when planning and/or creating lessons for my class. I also like to incorporate as many cooperative learning opportunities as possible.
