Students will enjoy reviewing types of nouns with this fall-themed SMARTboard lesson. The lesson reviews person, place, thing and animal and uses fall words. With several types of activities, students sort noun pictures and words, read words and choose the noun category and rearrange words to make sentences. Noun or Verb SMARTBoard Senteo Lesson
This is one SMARTBoard Senteo Lesson for teaching nouns and verbs. This lesson involves identifying if the given pictures are nouns or verbs. This lesson has a SMART Response quiz with 13 questions for students to answer with their own clickers.
My students love being able to actively participate in the lesson by answering each question with his/her own device. The SMART Response system also provides data on how each student performed on the quiz.

There are three pages on being verbs where student's need to select the correct word. I let them come up and place it but you can do it as well. There is one page where you need to sort the past and present verbs it is so much fun. And there is a planner page where you choose the verb and they need to come up with a sentence to use with it. You can print and copy all of these to use as a whole group activity as well.
