Weekly Spelling Homework Matrix
An editable word study matrix for weekly homework in a word study notebook. The students choose 3 in a row to complete with their personal words and grade their own work on a student rubric before turning it in. I have included several different ones with different activities - some have visual directions. There is one page specifically made for homophones.
Some activities include technology opportunities, while others are done straight into the journal. I made this for 5th graders.

Spel It Rite (A Spelling Game for All Ages)
Spell It Right is a game for all ages. This game comes with "bee cards" for 3, 4, 5, or larger letter words. You will need to laminate the "bee cards" before playing. My alphabet posters have upper and lower case letter and the amount of sounds those letters make, with a matching picture to that exact sound. The vowels also have a yellow border to tell the difference to the consonants. Very colourful to brighten up your classroom

I used these spelling grids for the entire year. Each 9 weeks I gave my students a new spelling grid.
Each grid includes homework for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and each night has an option of 3 activities for students to complete to practice their spelling words.

Daily Math Report for Student and Parent (Everyday Math)
I used this report everyday with my students. When I introduced a new lesson I would had this paper out. Students were responsible for writing down the CCSS standards (which had to be up in my classroom as per my principal). Parents will be able to see what number standard they are working on and then reference the sheet I sent home in the beginning of the year with the standards all written out. There are many different types of vocalic /r/ sounds. Often times, the way a word is spelled may not be the way that it sounds.
