This is an in classroom assignment designed to help your students grasp the concept of everyday life as an adult with responsibilities. This Reality Project gives students a gist of reality of how to budget for a family for a month. You can have them work in groups or work alone. This assignment comes with a video in the beginning, provides four to five different career choices, bi-weekly check, taxes, student loans, other debt and even food stamps for one career.
