Description
This is a bundle of 9 movie guide resources for covering U.S. Civil Rights or to use for Black History Month. All viewing guides are detailed and arranged in time-stamped sections. In addition to filling out the viewing guide questions, students will: Complete discussion questions that can be done individually or in small groups, do character analysis sheets, and will be assessed with a quiz for each film. These resources will help students to think critically about the historical themes portrayed in these films.
The majority of these films take place during the Civil Rights Era. We have also included Just Mercy, which takes place later in 1988. It is based on a true story of a civil rights attorney who worked to free a wrongly condemned death row prisoner.
