I've been in education for over 15 years. I started teaching ESL students when I was in college, which led me to teach in South Korea for 6 years. I taught English to students of ALL ages, from mommy and me classes to college electives. I then moved to Germany for 2 years where I taught business English at a couple of different companies. Our next move was to Hawaii where I taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and PreK.

I was a drama major and completed my post-graduate degree in directing, specializing in musical theatre. I then went on to complete an ESL teaching certification in both school-aged English language instruction and business English. In 2015 I completed my Orton Gillingham training and became a certified classroom educator.

Creating materials to use in my classrooms has always been something I've enjoyed. I love sharing my ideas and helping teachers by giving them back their time.
