I have 18 years experience working with secondary students, mostly middle school! I spent 13 years teaching English-Language Arts and 5 years as a middle school speech-language pathologist.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I LOVED my years working with middle school students! I've always enjoyed creating engaging and accessible activities that get down to the basics and enabled my students to better grasp advanced language concepts such as complex sentence structure, story retelling, sequencing, inferencing, expressing main ideas, identifying supporting evidence and developing conclusions. I'm always trying to approach students learning goals and activities through their eyes.
