I spent 6 years as a K-12 English as a Second Language teacher, 5 years teaching third grade, 4 years teaching 5th and 6th graders who struggle with reading and math (as well as some who excelled in math), and 4 years as a regular education 5th-grade teacher. I loved the challenge of finding ways to keep students interested in their learning. Recently retired, I continue to provide teachers with resources to make their lives easier as teachers that will also keep their students interested and engaged in their education.
I believe learning should have value, be fun, interesting, and memorable. I design my activities to fit those criteria.
