23 years experience teaching 7-12 science. Currently I teach chemistry- (15 years), and I have also taught physical science and middle school science.

I believe in mixing it up in the classroom in order to address all learning styles, and in order to keep students engaged in learning. To learn is a verb, and students must be actively focused and engaged to succeed.

It is alway an honor to witness the learning process of my students.

Masters in Education with a curriculum and instruction major, and a Bachelors degree in chemistry and biology.

Not only do I love teaching my students, I love helping other teachers. I enjoy passing on ideas and sharing mistakes that I've made along the way. It is important for teachers to collaborate on different successful methods to address difficult concepts. Teachers collaborating and networking is an important aspect of the job.
