TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching 6th grade English Language Arts at the middle school level. My previous experience includes 4 years teaching all subjects (reading, math, science, and social studies) in 5th grade and 4 years working in the Title I reading program at the elementary level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I want students to be ENGAGED! I love projects because students can demonstrate mastery of concepts and skills in creative ways. My students participate in lots of Socratic seminars and small group discussions.
