I have seven years of teaching experience in the US and abroad, and have taught several different disciplines within Social Studies. I am currently teaching history to international students and AP Psychology.
On a typical day in my classroom, students are actively involved in a wide variety of activities. I like to engage students through historical reenactments and simulations. I try use a range of web 2.0 tools and put technology in the hands of students as much as possible. I also incorporate social justice themes in my lessons and view teaching history as a way to create change.
