I have 28 Years of experience in education I have taught grades one, two, three, four, and five. I served as the Career and College Promise Director at a local community college for three years. I currently work as the MTSS Facilitator at a local high school.
I enjoy hands~on teaching and love to integrate subject areas as much as possible. I do believe there is a strong need for "old school" instruction as well. There is no replacement for memorizing math facts, writing in journals, and reading from a variety of genres. Through a mix of technology, cooperative learning, and "old school" techniques, I strive each day to reach all my students. I have a strong belief that every child can learn and will learn if you earn their trust and confidence!
