TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 12 years of teaching experience. I spent one amazing year in first grade, but my heart is in upper grades. I have been teaching 4th grade for the last 5 years, and I am loving every minute of it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is always evolving. I feel like it changes each and every year. Overall, I try to create an organized and well-managed classroom, so that my students are sure to learn, but also get to have fun at the same time. I try to create a learning environment where students feel safe and free to be themselves, and one in which students are able to work independently and cooperatively. I learn more about teaching and my own teaching style with each year that passes. Hopefully, I will have it mastered by the time I retire!
