I believe at the high school stage, students should be very much in charge of their success. I use a combination of a facilitator style and a hands-off approach once the students have set procedures in the classroom and lab settings. I use peer coaching fairly often and have students help students when the time is appropriate

I've been around agriculture and FFA my entire life. Growing up in Northern California as the daughter of an Ag Teacher, I've developed a passion for agricultural education and FFA. I love seeing students bloom into their full potential, using FFA to help them succeed and gain new experiences. I very much love the Ag Teaching community and the collaboration and support of smart, talented ag teachers.
