Importantly I must state that www.staidenshomeschool.com was closed when I completed homeschooling. To change the source documents will be a mammoth exercise but I will update my website link. I have left my works up as I do not believe they age and have value in their respective age groups and disciplines. The thematic bundles are fun and educational and timeless. With no formal Teacher Training, I worked in social media, am was a webmaster with a number of websites and blogs, and have a background and extensive experience in criminal and civil law. i now run an NPO private bird sanctuary and farm on a small scale. I was a homeschooling mom who opted for homeschooling as a result of circumstances in our country. I have not looked back. I have attended many online courses to assist me in my educational journey. My materials are utilized through countries of Africa as an alternative to formal educational publications which are prohibitively expensive! I am fond of compiling unit studies and thematic units which I am able to adapt and use for various ages. I make extensive use of public domain resources and include references to reputable websites for extension exercises and lesson plans. no copyright infringement is intended in any of my work, where public domain material is used. My creations are original. I am a published author.

I believe in every child developing at his or her own pace. I gently but continuously encouraged where my child seemed to be battling a little, and where there is a clear interest and understanding, I am at full throttle :)

I have received a number of website awards, and been the recipient of numerous awards and reviews for my research and work.

I have a business background in property and law. I focus now on research, books and my business as a Social Media Coach. I am a perpetual student of life.

My husband is a professional athlete manager/agent and we are also small-scale farmers, as well as wildlife and nature conservationists. I reiterate again that the website is no longer in existence. I believe the value of my projects speaks for itself and I hope that your children have as much fun working with them and executing the exercises as I had in creating them.
