TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a high school Family & Consumer Sciences teacher for five years. One year I taught in a private school, and the next four have been at the same high school. My current teaching role is at a Title I (90% Hispanic population). I teach Child Development, Interior Design, Food & Nutrition, Baking & Pastry, and Culinary Arts.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a lot of ELL learners and IEP students. I try to make all of my assignments clear and easy to follow for these learners. I also believe in visual aids, clear instructions and online learning using technology.
