Robyn began her teaching career in Special Education at the Elementary level. After a few years, she had the opportunity to teach in a self-contained, first grade classroom, and jumped on the chance. She LOVES all things first grade. Robyn has a Master's degree in Reading and Writing, and is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Early Childhood Generalist. Kaysin LOVES teaching and learning, too. She started her career in first grade, moved to 5th grade, and then spent 5 years in interventions teaching K-5 reading, writing, math, and behavior interventions in her school of over 600 students. When she was given the chance to move back to first grade, she excitedly took the plunge. Kaysin has a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership, and is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Middle Childhood Generalist.
We believe learning should be loud and busy. Students need time to play and learn together every day. Building a positive and inviting classroom climate is vital to the success of your students. We believe that parents are an extension of the classroom, and that consistent communication with families is important to maintain a positive and inviting classroom climate.
