Cum Laude

I was lucky enough to grow up five minutes away from one of the top community colleges in the U.S., so that is where I studied English and worked as an English/writing tutor for two years after high school. I then transferred to the University of North Alabama where I continued to study English but began to focus more on my first love, Elementary Education. I finished up my Bachelor's in Elementary Ed. at Athens State University in 2013. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Elementary Ed. at the University of West Alabama.

I'm engaged to Brandon, a mad scientist who works at our local hospital as the medical laboratory manager. I'm a huge animal lover: couldn't live without my miniature schnauzer, two rescue mutts, and my ragdoll cat!
