TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was born in Paris, France. As a native, I have been tutoring French to children and adults for many years. Ma specialité : I write stories, most of them with a humorous twist and ending. I use those stories to reinforce a grammar theme and make it more enjoyable. I am glad to share them with you.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I always try to teach French in a fun way. I may use songs, have students sing, dance, or play a theater script. I use many diverse resources and one of them is fun stories that I write: fun as opposed to boring stories which make too many students drop French. Fun but with structure : my students always know what they are studying, why, where they are in terms of level and how they can improve.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

When one tutors one to one or small groups, there is nobody to give you awards, except your own clients: My clients love me and I am proud to be one of the best French tutor in my area. In fact, I have to refuse students all the time due to my tight schedule ! Many language organisations around my area (such as the Alliance Francophone and others) use my services.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have been teaching French in France and in the States for the last 15 years.
