I currently teach at an all-boys school where projects are the dominant form of assessments and group work rules the day. In my previous position, I taught for 7 years in both middle and high school. I have served as the department chair since my second year of teaching, taught a variety of subjects, and also serve as an Instructional Coach.
I like to teach using different methods that best work for each class. For example, with my AP students, we have a lot of discussions and hands on assignments while in my Crime and Law class, it is more lecture based with activities like mock trials and crime scenes.
