Gabriela Silva

Currently I am working as a Title 1 teacher for middle school in math and reading and as a substitute teacher. Previously, I taught 3rd grade in a bilingual Spanish-English classroom for 2 years.

I love to keep things fun and exciting for my students, while subtly using multiple classroom management strategies to maintain student attention, respect and safety. As a teacher of ELL students, I engage many learning styles in my teaching, especially kinesthetic. I also prefer to have students engage in project based learning to engage and maintain creativity and higher level thinking.
