As a licensed school psychologist, my passion is collaboration and developing practical solutions toward reducing gaps in student achievement and social/emotional learning.
I whole heartedly believe that through the use of problem solving and data based practices we are all better equipped to effectively and efficiently grow healthier students. My desire is to eliminate barriers for educators, student support staff, and administrators in an effort to increase student academic and social/emotional growth.
I have developed and provided trainings and presentations at a regional, state, and national level. I take pride in developing products, trainings, and supports for simplifying evidence based practices and processes to better support educators and student learning.
I currently serve as a school psychologist in two elementary schools within a district in North Carolina. I love my job. I love collaborating with my teachers. I love problem solving around students with behavioral and academic differences. I love training intervention support teams across my district. But most of all I love supporting the implementation of small changes that make big differences in the lives of struggling students. My formal education includes a 4 year university degree in psychology along with a masters and specialist degree in school psychology within an APA accredited program.
