I have 30 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools, including AP Macroeconomics, AP US Government and Politics, AP European History, and AP World History. I have also taught Regular and Honors Economics, Regular and Honors Government, World History, and US History.
My teaching style is based on creating fun and interactive activities that drive student interest and engagement. I use multimedia presentations, music, and games to help students understand complex concepts in United States Government and Politics, Economics, and History.
I have served as a consultant for several online learning companies, and as an AP exam reader for the College Board for many years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in History and a Masters Degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Florida, and a Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership from Georgia College and State University.
I currently teach at a public high school in Georgia, where I also serve as Social Studies Department Chair.
