I have been an elementary teacher for 10 years. I have taught third and fourth for the majority of that time, but I also spent a year teaching fifth grade.
I like to use a lot of humor in my teaching, so I tell a lot of goofy stories and jokes. In math, I use a lot of math centers to have the students practice the skills while I am working with small groups.

I am married to Tina, who stays home to take care of our four boys.
