TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 1994. (YIKES..I'm old!) I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, first grade, and adult basic education. Most of my experience is with kindergarten. I started out in adult basic education working with adults in a family literacy program but fell in love with teaching young children. I am currently teaching kindergarten in upstate New York. I love my job!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a Montessorian at heart! So, of course, I am an advocate of differentiated instruction. I also truly believe that people need freedom and the responsibility that goes with that freedom, no matter whether one is 5 years old or 50.
