TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach Algebra I, Algebra II, Precalculus, Physics, and Computer Programming!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love providing my students clear resources and notes. Since I teach high schools I try to keep everything no frills and focus on guided notes filled with examples and multiple representations. I usually print my resources out on colored paper so students can easily find them to reference in a busy binder. Many of my seniors even take their math binders to college with them! Everyday my students complete a warm-up and we have weekly concept quizzes. After our guided notes, the students are free to practice at their own pace either alone or with a small group. I love a loud classroom filled with questions, mistakes, and ideas! In my classroom we focus on rigor and the growth mindset so each student can reach mastery at their own pace.
