I have been teaching full time in public and charter schools since 2008. I began my career in general education, teaching fourth and fifth grade. My passion has always been special education, as that is the field I received my master’s degree in. I switched roles and have been working in special education at a charter school in Austin, TX for the past five years.
My teaching style is differentiated, hands-on, engaging and student centered.
Yet to be added
I graduated from SUNY Oswego in upstate NY with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I continued my education at Syracuse University and earned my master's in Inclusive Special Education.
When I'm not teaching I enjoy running, hiking, cooking and baking, creating art out of pallets and spending time with my husband and dogs.
