TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my career as a high school chemistry and biology teacher. Then I discovered preshoolers and fell totally in love with teaching little people. I began to think about how I could communicate basic science principals to the youngest learners. My lesson plans could be described as high school biology meets the young child. I am currently an outdoor educator at a YMCA camp. I am now teaching science in the great outdoors. I teach preschoolers through 12th grade in a wide variety of biology topics. Next Generation science standards are threaded through all lessons.
