I have been a teacher for twelve years and have worked in various teaching positions in the United States and internationally. I began my career as a bilingual educator through Teach for America. I have taught in bilingual elementary classrooms, in standard self contained elementary classrooms, as a 7th grade Life Science teacher, and as a middle school Spanish Teacher. I currently live and teach 5th grade in Costa Rica.
I strive to create a learning environment that is a mixture of both structure and student guided exploration and learning. I believe that all students can learn when they are given the right tools and environment.
