TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Miss. Olivia has specifically taught piano, voice and recorder ages 3+ extending to senior students for nearly 10 years. She has extensive experience in working with ASD diagnosed children as well as ELL (ESL) students. Currently Miss. Olivia is a grade 6 homeroom teacher at an all girls school!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Miss Olivia's teaching style is primarily one-to-one because lessons traditionally take that format. With that being said, she incorporate a large community focus into her teaching that provides students with social and cooperative opportunities. She enjoys including history, literacy and social studies wherever I can throughout my lesson plans.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Miss. Olivia is a passionate, kind and experienced teacher. Miss. Olivia is musically trained from the University of Toronto, earning a Bachelor in Music Performance, 2016 and now graduated from York University with a Bachelors of Education. Miss. Olivia enjoys working with students and families to discover musical talent and interest as well as cultivating fine and gross motor skills, literacy skills and other developmental goals.

Miss. Olivia truly believes in the importance in community and works to create long-lasting meaningful relationships that work to support the growth and development of all piano and voice students.
