Mrs B's Best

I have 33 years teaching experience. Nine of those years were spent teaching first grade and one year teaching kindergarten. I then taught 6th grade math for four years and 15 years teaching 5th grade. This past year I served as an elementary instrucational coach. While there are many things I miss about working directly with students in the classroom, I have found coaching teachers to be extremely rewarding. No matter what grade level or subject I find myself teaching, I have always enjoyed using technology to make my life easier. I am excited to have the opportunity to share the tools I have created with other teachers.

I structure my class so that students have the opportunity to discover, explore, work through problems cooperatively. I have found that allowing students to work with their peers provides unexpected and valuable learning opportunities. As a teacher I work to differentiate and integrate instruction whenever possible. On a personal level, I treat every student the way I would want to be treated and expect them to do the same.

I have a wonderful supportive husband and two grown children who make me proud daily. I am also a Grandmother to a beautiful Granddaughter!
