After high school, I attended culinary school in NY and worked in some of the best restaurants in country. I always had a heart for teaching and education, and after 5 years in the industry, I decided to pursue my teaching credential. I teach high school FACS classes, specifically culinary and baking. My classroom consists of 9-12 graders, SPED and ELL students. I did not have a teaching background before becoming a teacher, and often had a difficult time finding exactly what I was looking for, so I just created things myself! I am now sharing some of what I have created with the TPT community.
I believe students learn best through hands on involvement and experience. I love group work to encourage socialization and learning from others, while not losing individual accountability.
