TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 24th year of teaching. I've taught ALL of the elementary grades. I started out teaching 6th grade. After two years, I went down to 1st grade, then to 2nd. I've been teaching 2nd grade for 7 years. I teach all of the major subjects. I am also certified as an Educational Technology Facilitator.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that every student can learn. I try to meet them where they are. I try to be the facilitator of their learning as much as possible. However, at times I do tend to be more of the "modeler" or the demonstrator.
