Although not formally certified until 2011, I have been teaching for much longer than that! Beginning as a coach and mentor to younger students, and later evolving to teaching assistant positions at the postsecondary level, I knew that I wanted to teach - ANYTHING! And so I have pretty much taught it all from Kindergarten to University classes. I am currently teaching French Kindergarten at an inner city school and work with marginalized children from all over the world (seriously - our school has over 80 different nationalities and languages spoken!)
Play is at the forefront of everything we do in our class! Math, literacy, science, and the arts can all be discovered through the love of play. Early learners are especially gifted at this, and we could all stand to take a child's perspective more often.

I am first and foremost a mom to 3 beautiful boys who keep me on my toes! I am the biggest geek there is when it comes to education - I became a teacher because I wanted to be in school forever!
