I have 13 years teaching experience in a K-4 school, primarily in 4th grade. However, in addition, I worked as a Title I reading paraprofessional for four years, which totals seventeen years in the educational field. Prior to working full time in a classroom, I also worked as a substitute teacher for six months.
I describe my teaching style as eclectic since I use a combination of teaching strategies in my classroom. These include strategies such as multimedia projects, hands-on activities, and student-created presentations shown to other classes, grades, and parents.
