For the past 28 years, I've been supporting evidence-based services to children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders in school, clinic, and home settings. I'm a doctoral level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), and an International Behavior analyst (IBA). I'm also an Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) Certified Therapist and Trainer.
I''m a big supporter of helping people 'work smarter, not harder' and I know how challenging it can be to find the time to create helpful resources when life is already so busy. As such, I've created practical resources that can be put into practice as soon as you download them, to ensure you have everything you need to support children. I 'm a big supporter of Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBIs) and specialize in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) for young children. The ESDM is a comprehensive therapy model for children with autism. It focuses on young learners, typically those under the age of 5, and teaching occurs through meaningful and everyday routines and activities.
My resources and webinars have been featured on many ABA blogs and websites. I've been the recipient of several International and local large grants to support the disseminate of evidence-based services for children with autism.
I have a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Saint Ambrose University, a Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Ohio State University, and a PhD in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities from the Tizard Centre, University of Kent (UK).
I'm the founder of the NDBI Essentials Professional Development Membership and the Early Start Autism Podcast.
