I am beginning my 7th year of teaching at the high school level. During my time in my district, I have taught Geometry, Blocked Geometry, Algebra II, Honors Pre-Calculus, College Ready Math, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, and AP Caclulus.
I would describe my teaching style as very student-centered and fun. I like to incorporate games and activities into my teaching when applicable. In addition, I try to put a huge emphasis on developing and nurturing students' growth mindsets. I recognize that students are not all carbon copies of one another and that learning takes different paths for each student.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for undergrad in May of 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics Education. I graduated from graduate school in December of 2021 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with my Master's of Arts in Teaching Mathematics.
I would describe myself as a lifelong learner and someone who is always aspiring to improve my craft. I don't like to settle for what has been done in the past and want to learn new, innovative ways to teach that are shown to be successful.
