TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 4 years. I taught 1st grade for 3 years, and this is my 1st year teaching 2nd grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to incorporate a lot of movement, gestures, songs and dance. I also tend to teach most subjects in a small group setting. I incorporate hands on activities as much as I can, and I believe in providing my students with memorable experiences to increase their learning.

I was awarded the First Year Educator of the Year award for my campus in Northside ISD in 2013.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio.

I am 27 years old, and set to get married in June 2015! I have 3 dogs and recently bought my first house! I love to create things for my classroom as well as for my own home!
