Embarking on my teaching journey at the tender age of 20, I have accumulated over 11 enriching years of experience in the education realm, spanning from the delightful PreK classes to the inspiring landscapes of college-level courses. In 2016, I proudly earned my Master's in Teaching, and my relentless pursuit of knowledge has led me to the current pursuit of a Doctorate in Leadership and Education. Honored with the 2018 Educator of the Year award from the St. Louis American Foundation, recognized in the St. Louis Business Journal's 30 Under 30, and humbled to receive the 2019 Phenomenal Woman Award, among other esteemed accolades, a commitment to excellence marks my journey. My passion extends beyond the classroom; it's a fervent belief in the power of dreams and the beauty of embracing new languages. This passion inspired the creation of Smile Big Dream Bigger, LLC – St. Louis's first bilingual company devoted to nurturing the seeds of bigger dreams within individuals. As the author of three award-winning bilingual children’s books—Smile Big Dream Bigger, The Bigger the Fro, the More I Know, and No Limit to Greatness—I witnessed firsthand how these stories became motivational beacons for readers. Observing the transformative impact of my books, I founded Smile Big Dream Bigger, a service dedicated to imparting invaluable lessons from my literary creations. Through this venture, I aspire to instill in others the unwavering belief in their dreams, fostering a spirit of boundless potential.
