TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am have been working as a speech language pathologist for the last 20 years. My specialties include early language, autism, and speech sound disorders. I have specialized training in the Hanen Program: It takes 2 to talk and PROMPT levels 1 and 2. I really love working with kids and finding the "just right challenge" to help them improve their communication.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy activities that incorporate hands on learning. I really try to find my student's unique interests and incorporate them into my therapy sessions. I try to incorporate movement based activities and whole body learning when I am able. I enjoy breaking goals down to the smallest steps and increase the difficulty to help my student's achieve their goals.
