Spiffy Spanish by Sra Blanca

I have taught all grade levels, including higher education. I began my teaching career at the university level, but I moved to a rural area and discovered the flexibility of teaching at the secondary level. I currently teach Spanish at a high school and as an adjunct instructor for my local community college.

I employ a communicative approach to language instruction with technology integration whenever possible.

I hold a B.A. in Spanish, a M.A. in Hispanic Studies with a concentration in Linguistics, a M.A.T. in K-12 Foreign Language, and +30 Graduate Hours in Education.

In 2013, I founded a European travel abroad program in the school where I teach. I now take students all over Spain each year to bring their classroom learning to life.
