Began teaching in 2007 and took five years to perfect the student-centered model of instruction. In 2018, Student-Centered World was formed to help other educators adopt the student-centered model with minimal struggles. With my background as a secondary social studies teacher, the bulk of my resources are in that genre. However, use the categories to find resources for a number of different topics and grade levels that are NOT history specific.
All things learner-centered via student choice, hands-on activities, and a variety of independent and cooperative experiences while focusing on soft skills. I believe in student-centered learning because it naturally differentiates for every student that walks into your classroom.
